About Animal House Productions Inc.

Animal House Productions Inc. was established in December 2001 in Toronto, with the objective of being a television related content supplier, a production house and a live entertainment provider to the communities of South Asian origin in Canada.

It is the brainchild of Marina Khan and Jaleel Akhtar who have had a wide range of experience in the entertainment industry prior to this in Pakistan and internationally under the banner of Fat Cat Productions. These two companies have worked as sister concerns, using the history and experience of Fat Cat Productions to build on. Having supplied script content and program design to several production houses and channels in Pakistan, it now gives us great pleasure to announce that Animal House Productions Inc. is embarking on the second phase of it’s original objective, that is, to hold live entertainment events in Canada, the first of which is scheduled for April 2009.

As is the norm for the company directors who have much mainstream entertainment experience, this first event will feature the best entertainment act that Pakistan has to offer the world, the Queen of Sufi music – Abida Parveen. With other performances of mainstream pop acts, and unique events ranging from a star studded Nazia & Zoheb Tribute to a Hasina Moin Theatre tribute in the pipeline, Marina and Jaleel look out for your support and best wishes to be the best entertainment providers of communities of South Asian origin in Canada.
